This weeks Watercolour playtime

I found a delightful photo on a blog from Tuscany in Italy and wrote to the lady to ask if I could use her photo to try and paint it and she very kindly not only gave me permission to use her photo but sent me a larger image which included an area that she had cropped from the original that she had posted on her blog - Have dogs will travel - this is a delightful blog from a very talented lady and I am sure that you will all enjoy a little wander around it

Terry,

I have seen your original photo and it was quite beautiful. Love what you have done with it.

How come whenever I click on your photo, I get a photo of the other blog, not quite what I want to get as I wanted to see it a little bigger. How did you manage to do that, I wonder ...........

Lovely work, Terry. I've visited your blog umpteen number of times as a lurker, just to see your paintings. Your comment prompted me to break my silence.
Thanks for the visit and the comment.

Terry, what a lovely surprise to find this painting here and thank you for the thanks. Your painting is so joyous.

The iris are long gone and my husband has since taken out that rose because he said it was dead. It's been replaced by a lovely hybrid iris so by next year I guess I'll get over the loss.

Thank you for the link to my blog :)
