Am really excited today as have joined the tutorials of Anna Mason and her amazing botanical studies just hope I can keep up and manage not to disgrace myself as my paintings are a bit naff compared to many but I enjoy them which is what counts when you get to my age</div>

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The next challenge was to make another miniature bear and I made this little lady as a gift for my best friend and know how much she loves springtime called her <span style="color: red;"><strong>Willow</strong></span> as she reminds me of the colour of the new willow tree leaves when they start to come out in the spring</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

The actual photo shows this little cottage with broken windows, tiles missing off the roof and surrounded but weeds and looked just so sad I tried to make it as if it is lived in and loved with some flowers around it and a climbing rose meandering up and across the roof.<br /><br />This little watercolour was for my SWAP partner who lives in the Phillippines and I have just heard that it has arrived with her so I can show it to you all. The little very friendly group that I belong to swap our little paintings which are all painted so that they fit into a 10 x 8 frame and we have our swaps four times a year and we never know where our return swap is coming from as we have a different partner than the one that we send ours to.<br /><br />This was fun to paint and I hope that you all like itTerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04198987390035175182noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-742420493758104185.post-22019751998465215372009-04-27T03:44:00.001-07:002009-04-27T03:49:41.547-07:00Watercolour done in a loose style<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4_lZCfui9_vYD4zbQZXwHZuZ36s1mZX3ohQA6qgC6walnE1Of31X3rpGEFkyUVRYRgPkwA9BndMC3_dMJtJihs7H8cKvPcWlZaMBO8WpJ0QNtmC1-m8-ca71YKe9O9QAQXBygxD16ynk/s1600-h/Lowry+type+painting.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5329321409639811154" style="DISPLAY: block; He has called it St George and the Dragon<br /><div></div>Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04198987390035175182noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-742420493758104185.post-47344596439467782862008-12-19T06:52:00.000-08:002008-12-19T06:57:01.775-08:00I won the Beginners Class<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiPZiLrlnp8RD0COEQsDv-VtdyZRVLudrKYnRr7BmJAh87pfSU93wKcQbOUG-B_lF6xYn2-VML5uaxj2dFeM6L_LYynXVk8d-n2-b_kxEMWw4SUPJ60ZIcCMXCDwxTnlqSuWlqhj0ccow/s1600-h/!cid_A823E0382D9C45949345E4F20B1E29D7%40SmartArseTwo.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281514588735253026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiPZiLrlnp8RD0COEQsDv-VtdyZRVLudrKYnRr7BmJAh87pfSU93wKcQbOUG-B_lF6xYn2-VML5uaxj2dFeM6L_LYynXVk8d-n2-b_kxEMWw4SUPJ60ZIcCMXCDwxTnlqSuWlqhj0ccow/s400/!cid_A823E0382D9C45949345E4F20B1E29D7%40SmartArseTwo.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Congratulations to Bobbi Price the winner the Advance Group and for Kay Fuller the winner of the Intermediate Group.</div><div> </div><div>I am just tickled pink as I have won the Beginners Group with my painting, we are all members of Cia's Watercolour Group and the challenge was for a painting of our own choice with 'Snow'</div>Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04198987390035175182noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-742420493758104185.post-37276099424555982742008-12-05T10:12:00.001-08:002008-12-07T08:04:59.797-08:00Old Swinford School Doorway in the snow<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCeYetuoEiX8weoe76VfFiz5vfS96D_vh7sKKNSGE5bnCMmMvmAyndJGNucNV-EX2vJk3P2NbYyTQ2ogsm6LyLPOFlMVFt2hDstL5HJqqmWYXaF-7E6lHue6i2UIkjiooeLgfnev3-K2g/s1600-h/Old+Swinford+School+Door+in+Snow.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276370741255922450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 331px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCeYetuoEiX8weoe76VfFiz5vfS96D_vh7sKKNSGE5bnCMmMvmAyndJGNucNV-EX2vJk3P2NbYyTQ2ogsm6LyLPOFlMVFt2hDstL5HJqqmWYXaF-7E6lHue6i2UIkjiooeLgfnev3-K2g/s400/Old+Swinford+School+Door+in+Snow.jpg" border="0" /></a> This is the old doorway of the Headmasters <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">entrance</span> to the Old <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Swinford</span> Hospital School<br /><a href="http://www.oshsch.com/">http://www.oshsch.com/</a> This is painted on Arches paper and is a quarter sheet size.
