This Rose is Brazilian Embrodiery with a touch of Stumpwork it is from a design by Debbie Kelley.
Initially it seems rather daunting but in fact turned out to be a quick and easy design to finish

Oh la la, Terry, c'est magnifique :-)
I love it! You have done a wonderful job with it. I will soon be starting mine and just hope that I manage to do as well as you have done yours.
What is next? Stitching or painting or a little bit of both?
Pierrette =^..^=
And is very lovely! I love Brazilian, but haven't really done any myself yet. I will though...
Your painting seems to be coming along well too. Keep up the good work!
What a great rose. I don't normally do pink, but this is lovely.
Stunning embroidery! Such delicate work!
Terry, this is beautiful! How are you going to finish it?
Absolutely gorgeous Terry. You are one talented lady.
Thank you for all your kind comments, I have not decided yet how I will finish it, am looking for a nice deep frame and then will find a nice tonal colour for a double or treble mount probably in an oval shape
Very beautiful. I love your Brazilian thread work. The fish is wonderful too.

Your watercolours are delightful and my favourite is the treed one. Your rose is gorgeous. Can you tell me how you achieved the rolled edges please? It really finishes the petals.
Maureen
the petal edges of the rose are a long bullion with detatched buttonhole stitch.
What gorgeous work!!
